What is Filler?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the human body, primarily in connective tissues, skin, and eyes. It’s a type of sugar molecule that helps retain water to keep tissues lubricated and moist. In simpler terms, it acts like a sponge that attracts and binds to water molecules, helping to hydrate and plump up the skin.
In skincare and cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is used for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties. When applied topically or injected into the skin, it can help improve hydration, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and enhance skin elasticity. It’s often found in moisturizers, serums, and dermal fillers.
Hyaluronic acid is also used in aesthetic treatments to replace age related volume loss and enhance your best features like lips and cheekbones creating contour and pleasing cosmetic results.
